Job summary

Hughes Financial Services LLC seeks an organized operations assistant to support leadership and ensure a seamless client experience. The role focuses on handling administrative duties, billing, and improving workflows while coordinating with custodians and vendors.

Responsibilities include Salesforce administration, vendor relations, and light marketing support, with opportunities for growth into senior operational leadership within the firm. Hybrid work is available in Herndon, VA.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting operations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational and executive support to leadership, assisting with daily management priorities and follow-through.
• Coordinate billing and accounts payable processes, assist with vendor relationships, and help resolve operational issues.
• Work to improve internal workflows, Salesforce administration, and the client experience across the firm’s processes.
• Assist with operational preparation for surge review seasons and provide light marketing and project coordination support.
• Assist the operations team with client account administration and maintenance requests.

What you'll Do:

• Provide operational and executive support to leadership, assisting them with daily management priorities and follow-through
• Coordinate billing and accounts payable processes, assist with vendor relationships, and help resolve operational issues
• Work to improve internal workflows, Salesforce administration, the client experience, and the firm’s broader software/technology processes
• Assist with operational preparation for surge review seasons and provide light marketing and project coordination support
• Assist the operations team with client account administration
• Process account openings, maintenance requests, updates
• Work closely with custodians and platform providers such as Charles Schwab, Nationwide, and College America
