Operations Risk Support Specialist – Newport Beach, CA or Omaha, NE

Hybrid role with one day per week office requirement.

Responsibilities

• Participate in compliance and legal risk review case discussions and share insights with peers.
• Research and respond to cases from Operations or Office of General Counsel for Life and Annuities lines.
• Apply department standards to present findings and support resolution decisions.
• Meet deadlines, adhere to SLAs, and maintain thoroughness and accuracy.
• Communicate resolution decisions and required details to production teams.
• Support the Resolutions Committee by preparing case information for presentation.
• Identify documentation or process gaps and raise them through proper channels.
• Analyze risk-related trends, report findings to leadership, and recommend improvements.
• Complete training for Life and/or Annuities product lines for cross‑line support.

Qualifications / Experience

• Minimum 2+ years of experience in an annuity call center with an operational focus.
• Familiarity with annuity products and features (Pacific Life specific knowledge not required).
• Ability to clearly explain annuity product concepts.
• Experience identifying matters requiring compliance or legal review such as fraud, identity theft, or suspicious activity.
• Strong research, analytical, and interpretive skills with policies, procedures, and regulatory guidance.

Base Pay Range: $31.89 - $38.97 (determine during interview).
