The Operations/Practice Manager is tasked with leading our team and operating our large volume pet care facility. The PM/OM reports directly to the General Manger as well as the Owner of the business and is accountable for all day-to-day operations, client satisfaction, staff management, fiscal accountability and ensuring that all processes and systems are being followed. The PM is the first point of contact for all operations, and is also accountable for meeting established customer service standards focusing on both internal and external customers.
Creature Comforts is a multi-location, high volume facility with various services (Grooming, Boarding, Training) and communal playtime. The business is looking for a strong PM with solid experience and ability to run the operation independently. Principal Responsibilities include; (this is a short version of the more comprehensive duties):
The Operations/Practice Manager is responsible for employee hiring, firing, coaching, performance monitoring and team building along with scheduling and assuring proper coverage with fiscal consideration to payroll cost.
The Operations/Practice Manager is responsible for all facility operations (boarding, daycare, grooming, training and add-on services); safety of dogs, staff and clients. Ensuring that established, high quality, customer service standards are consistently met and exceeded; handling customer complaints to ensure positive outcomes. Responsible for ensuring high cleanliness & sanitation standards are met, maintenance needs addressed and supply inventories monitored.
The Operations/Practice Manager will assist in the day to day accounting functions of the business. The PM is primarily responsible for client account review and related functions. Generating payroll reports, payroll, reconciliation of daily deposits and software.
The Operations/Practice Manager is expected to participate in all areas of direct animal care when needed. Including but not limited to assisting administering medication, feeding, occasionally walking dogs for potty breaks, and various cleaning tasks such as dishes, animal rooms and runs, kitchens etc.
Successful candidate will have the following (Minimum) required qualifications:
Education: Min of 2 year degree (4 year preferred) in Business /Accounting or Zoological/Animal Science
Experience: Min 3 years in a Manager, Operations Manager position (leadership position managing at least a group of 5 people) with a strong track record of successful staff management, including hiring, firing, training & support. Strong track record of customer service and client satisfaction. Pet care facility experience highly preferred, but not required if other skill sets exceptionally well suited

Pay is based on experience and starts at $21.00-$25.00 per/hr.
