Job Title

Senior Operations Research Analyst (Model Based) - Systems Engineering Department (SED)

Responsibilities

• Support the Systems Engineering Department at Patuxent River Naval Air Station, Lexington Park, MD, providing systems engineering support for weapons systems across various platforms.
• Conduct technical research, analysis, and documentation throughout the acquisition lifecycle of aircraft, weapon, and integrated systems, including evaluating technical performance, mission suitability, and risks.
• Provide high-level expertise, analysis, and guidance on complex technical and organizational tasks, including system design, integration, testing, and evaluation.
• Lead execution of complex tasks, perform hardware/software concept analysis, and develop documentation.
• Review, analyze, and integrate data from contractors or government sources, and conduct system concept formulation and subsystem analysis.
• Possibly work on specialized problem areas such as network security, digital innovation, or disruptive technologies like AI, blockchain, or quantum computing.

Qualifications

• Management, Technical, or Scientific MS or MA degree from an accredited institution; or BS/BA with 4+ years of relevant experience.
• Minimum of 10 years recent experience in engineering or operations analysis, with at least 3 years related to DoD systems.
• Active DoD secret clearance and ability to pass background checks.
• U.S. citizenship required.
