Job summary

Daniel Defense is seeking an Operations Systems Engineer 2 to lead industrialization efforts and serve as the primary liaison between NPD and Operations. You will manage schedules, risk logs, and readiness checklists, coordinating with Manufacturing, Quality, Procurement, and Supply Chain to drive product launches.

The role requires a Bachelor's in a relevant field and 2–5 years of experience in manufacturing or engineering project management, with strong communication and ERP data skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Project Management, or related field.
• 2–5 years of manufacturing, engineering, or operations project management experience.
• Ability to lead cross‑functional projects, manage schedules and risks, and drive deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Lead industrialization projects from design release through production readiness and launch.
• Coordinate between NPD, Operations, Quality, Procurement, and Supply Chain.
• Create and manage integrated project schedules, risk logs, and readiness checklists.
• Maintain ERP manufacturing data including BOMs, routings, runtimes, and lead times.
• Support gate reviews with Operations input and recommended actions.
• Improve standard work, templates, and metrics across the function.
