Overview
Operations Project Lead – Heavy Transportation division.
Location: Georgia (Griffin, Augusta, or Atlanta).
Annual salary: $70,000.
Frequent travel required.
Reports To
Direct: Director of Operations
Indirect: General Manager
Responsibilities
- Lead projects from concept to completion, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and timelines.
- Coordinate communication among internal teams and external stakeholders to maintain project clarity.
- Develop and manage project plans, including resource allocation, scheduling, and risk mitigation.
- Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs.
- Monitor project performance metrics and implement corrective actions to meet quality and delivery targets.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to resolve issues and ensure seamless execution.
- Prepare and present project status reports to leadership, highlighting progress and recommendations.
- Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.
- Respond promptly to urgent project or facility concerns to minimize operational disruptions.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Strong project management expertise, including planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and risk mitigation.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to coordinate cross‑functional teams and external partners.
- Proven ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.
- High adaptability and problem‑solving skills to manage evolving priorities and urgent operational challenges.

Experience
Minimum 5 years of experience in project management, operations, or related roles, with a proven track record of leading cross‑functional initiatives and delivering results.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Operations Management, or related field.
- PMP or Lean Six Sigma certification preferred.
