Leidos seeks an Operations Planning SME to translate strategic guidance into executable plans and advise senior leaders. This principal-level role requires deep JPP knowledge, cross-domain planning, and the ability to work independently with minimal guidance.
The candidate will lead Joint Planning Groups, develop agency strategy, and author planning documents while coordinating with CCMDs and other partners. A TS/SCI clearance is required and JA/advanced warfighting credentials are preferred.
The Operations Planning SME will be a principal-level expert Strategist responsible for the development, analysis, and support of joint operational and strategic plans. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of the Joint Planning Process (JPP), advanced planning concepts, and the integration of information technology services and capabilities provided by the Defense Information and Systems Agency (DISA). This role requires the ability to translate strategic guidance into detailed, executable plans and orders, and to effectively advise senior military leaders on complex operational challenges. The SME is expected to be a thought leader for the Agency and must be able to work independently with minimum or no guidance.

Pay Range: Pay Range $131,300.00 - $237,350.00 The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
