This role coordinates daily patient care activities, supports clinical workflows, and facilitates communication among nursing staff, physicians, and allied health professionals to ensure safe, efficient care delivery. The coordinator assists with patient triage, scheduling, and care transitions, monitors clinical documentation for accuracy and completeness, and helps maintain adherence to organizational policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting with unit operations, supporting staffing and resource utilization, participating in performance improvement initiatives, and serving as a clinical resource for patients, families, and team members.
