GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking an Operations Manager, Supply Chain for 2nd Shift in Claude, TX. You will oversee critical operations, hire and develop staff, and drive quality and safety across the facility.

The role requires a hands-on leader who can manage multiple priorities and maintain excellent customer commitments. The position emphasizes lean, safety compliance, and process improvements, with a schedule Monday–Friday, 4:00pm–12:30am and opportunities to travel up to 20% as needed.

Formación

• 4 years of relevant work experience in logistics or supply chain
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and scanner equipment
• Must be available for flexible schedule including overtime and weekends

Responsabilidades

• Communicate with customers, vendors and team members to ensure customer commitments are met
• Demonstrate understanding of GXO’s quality policies; establish procedures for maintaining quality objectives
• Provide guidance to supervisors with respect to personnel, quality and safety
• Hire, train, develop and appraise staff effectively
• Make recommendations on programs to improve operations
• Handle equipment and coordinate all maintenance needs with the maintenance team
• Ensure records are maintained appropriately and reports are completed in a timely manner
• Adhere to and enforce all safe work practices, ensuring the warehouse is compliant with OSHA and other standards

2nd Shift, Monday - Friday, 4:00pm - 12:30pm

What you’ll do on a typical day:

• Communicate with customers, vendors and team members to ensure customer commitments are met

• Adhere to and enforce all safe work practices, ensuring the warehouse is compliant with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and other pertinent standards/regulations

What you need to succeed at GXO:

At a minimum, you’ll need:

• 4 years of relevant work experience
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) and computerized scanner equipment
• Availability to work a flexible schedule as needed, including planned and unplanned overtime, which may include weekends

It’d be great if you also have:

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics or a related field
• 4years of managerial/supervisory experience
• Experience in an AS9100 or ISO environment
• Lean, Six Sigma and Continuous Process Improvement knowledge and experience
• Experience in warehousing or Third-Party Logistics (3PL)
• Ability to maintain a safe work environment by monitoring and enforcing safety procedures across all departments
• Strong problem-solving techniques and statistical analysis skills
• Availability to travel up to 20%

This job requires the ability to:

• Lift objects of various shapes, sizes, and weights
• Stand, sit or walk for extended periods of time
• Reach (including above your head), bend, climb, push, pull, twist, squat and kneel
• Tolerate hot or cold warehouse environments
