Job summary

Leesel Transportation Corp in New York City is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee daily workflows and long-term planning for our transportation teams. You will manage budgets, improve productivity, and drive efficiency while promoting a positive workplace culture.

Fluency in Spanish is required and you will supervise a diverse team on a 11:00 AM–8:00 PM shift. Responsibilities include cross-team coordination, policy implementation, and identifying improvements to optimize revenue.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years of transportation management experience.
• One (1) year of supervisory experience.
• High school diploma.
• MUST BE BILINGUAL IN SPANISH

• Coordinate different teams to foster exchange of ideas and provide cross-team learning opportunities.
• Assess and analyze departmental budgets to find ways to minimize expenses and optimize profits.

• Identify potential problems and points of friction and work to find solutions to maximize efficiency and revenue.
• Identify opportunities to expand or shift course to take advantage of changes in the market.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
