Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is seeking an Operations Manager II for a second-shift in our warehouse operations. You will lead a diverse team of Supervisors, develop workflows, and drive safety and efficiency to meet customer expectations.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, 1+ year in logistics, and 2+ years in supervision. You will partner with HR on staffing, monitor KPIs, and foster cross-functional collaboration to optimize performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, preferred.
• 1+ years logistics industry experience required.
• 2+ years supervisory/management experience required.
• P&L management, objective setting and project management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and develop Supervisors and indirect reports by providing coaching, guidance, and support as needed, while also developing a strong team culture of inclusion and belonging.
• Develop and implement efficient workflows, labor plan, standardize processes, and introduce best practices to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and improve overall operational efficiency.
• Take proactive measures to consistently uphold compliance with health and safety regulations, fostering a culture of heightened safety awareness throughout the organization.
• Compile comprehensive reports on KPIs, including productivity and accuracy metrics, providing insights to support informed decision-making.
• Foster an environment of open communication and collaboration among leadership and associates to promote transparency, alignment, and teamwork.
• Partner with HR and site leadership to ensure a comprehensive hiring process of Supervisors.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the consistent and prompt fulfillment of customer orders.
• Engage with customers to address concerns and improve satisfaction.

Operations Manager (Operations Manager II)

The Operations Manager II role has a national salary range of $72,000 - $85,000.

For roles within California the range is $75,000 to $95,000, and Washington is $80,169 to $95,000.

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the consistent and prompt fulfillment of customer orders, exceeding their expectations.
• Engage in a strong partnership with customers, proactively taking measures to address any concerns or issues, with the goal of achieving exceptional customer satisfaction.

Required Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, preferred.
• 1+ years logistics industry experience, required.
• 2+ years of experience in a supervisory or management role, required.
• Experience with P&L management, objective setting, and project management, preferred.
