Our operations team in New Berlin, WI is now looking for an Operations Manager - Manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Execute activities and improvements supporting safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives.
• Develop and lead a team to achieve production goals and deliver medical devices to customers and end users.
• Maintain day-to-day operations, improve processes through systematic problem solving and root cause analysis (RCA), and develop team skills.

Key Tasks

• Manage and supervise area managers.
• Measure and improve KPIs related to safety, quality, cost, and delivery.
• Identify improvement projects, investments, and training needs.
• Participate as a member of the leadership team, modeling Permobil values and continuous improvement.
• Ensure safety culture and leadership behaviors.
• Lead projects to improve cost of goods sold in line with strategy.
• Address maintenance and facility issues.
• Maintain plant housekeeping standards.
• Manage operating budgets and recommend capital expenditures.
• Enhance quality systems and ensure ISO compliance.
• Promote a positive work environment, teamwork, and trust.

Your Background

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, management, or related field.
• 3-5 years of manufacturing leadership experience in a lean environment.
• 3+ years in an ISO-certified QMS environment.
• Project management certification and knowledge of quality standards.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and customer service systems.
