Responsibilities

• Supervises employees involved in production and/or operation functions related to manufacturing of capital equipment and subsystems.
• Prioritizes production schedules based on manpower, equipment efficiency, capacity and materials requirements.
• Supports development and tracking of organization performance metrics; schedules milestone meetings; aims to improve cycle time and other metrics.
• Ensures timely response to operations issues affecting customer satisfaction; interfaces with customers/vendors to ensure requirements.
• Implements safety policies and ensures department training (EH&S) for all employees, including temporaries.
• Develops personnel through training and career development; manages hiring, rewards and discipline processes.
• Analyzes and plans for capacity optimization; monitors processes and reports key data and real-time status.
• Drives Lean, Safety and Quality; identifies process and quality changes to improve capabilities.
