Job summary

Intellectt Inc. is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead manufacturing operations across SMT, PCBA, mechanical assembly, backend assembly, and cleanroom production in Milpitas, CA.

The role drives safety, quality, delivery, cost, productivity, and continuous improvement in a high-volume environment. The candidate will oversee daily operations, coach teams, implement Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and collaborate with Quality, Engineering, and Supply Chain to meet KPIs and regulatory

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, Business, or related field.
• 5+ years of manufacturing operations leadership experience.
• Experience in high-volume electronics manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of SMT / PCBA manufacturing and production operations.
• Experience leading production teams, supervisors, and team leads.
• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Kaizen.
• Experience managing manufacturing KPIs such as OEE, FPY, throughput, and productivity.
• Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and team-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily manufacturing operations and ensure production schedules are achieved.
• Drive SQDCI objectives across production areas.
• Monitor and improve OEE, FPY, throughput, productivity, labor efficiency, and inventory.
• Lead production teams, supervisors, and team leads through coaching and performance management.
• Implement Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support problem-solving, corrective actions, capacity planning, NPI, and resource allocation.
• Partner with Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, and other cross-functional teams to resolve operational issues.
• Ensure compliance with customer, quality, and regulatory requirements.
• Use ERP/MES and operational data to support decision-making and performance improvement.
