The role requires a bachelor’s degree and at least 6 years of experience in operations, with oversight of staff and budgets. Collaboration with multiple departments will be essential to meet company goals and customer deadlines.

Job Summary

Manages daily activities in the organization’s operations function. This includes overall responsibilities for production, efficiency, labor, quality, safety and other production-related activities.

Education and Experience

• Typically requires a bachelor’s degree and at least 6 years of experience.
• Comprehensive knowledge of the field’s concepts and principles.
• Performs complex tasks typically following established processes.
• Leads and directs the work of other employees and has full authority for personnel decisions.
• Primarily focused on administering established policies and procedures but may have some impact on departmental budgeting, strategic planning, and procedural change.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage staff: Hire, train, and mentor employees, and handle high-level human resources duties to ensure a productive and motivated workforce.
• Optimize processes: Analyze and improve operational processes to increase efficiency, and develop strategic plans to align daily tasks with company objectives .
• Manage resources and budget: Oversee budgets, allocate resources effectively, and manage procurement to control costs.
• Monitor performance: Track key performance indicators (KPIs), analyze performance metrics, and prepare reports to identify areas for improvement and ensure goals are met.
• Ensure compliance: Make sure the company adheres to safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
• Coordinate and collaborate: Work with various departments to ensure seamless execution of projects and align operational strategies with overall business goals.

Work Environment

This job is carried out in a professional office setting and involves using standard office equipment like laptops, desk phones, and smartphones. Regular visits to production facilities may also be required . During those visits, the employee is occasionally exposed to cold and/or humid conditions. The employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, cold temperatures, and electrical shock and vibration risks. The noise level in the work environment is moderate.

Physical Demands

Employees must be able to stand, walk, or sit; use their hands for tasks; reach with their arms; and communicate verbally. Occasional lifting or moving of objects is necessary, along with close, distance, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
