Job summary

Derstine's Foodservice Distributor in Pennsylvania's Telford area seeks an experienced warehouse supervisor to lead 15–20 staff, overseeing receiving, storage, picking and shipping for food kit projects and hunger relief efforts. This role requires strong leadership, problem solving, and a calm approach under tight deadlines.

You will manage inventory control activities, train teams on standard operating procedures, and coordinate with other operations managers to drive quality.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Supervise 15–20 workers in receiving, storing, picking and shipping for food kit projects.
• Oversee inventory control and manage the inventory control specialist.
• Develop and deliver training on receiving, handling, storing, picking and shipping SOPs.
• Address storage and distribution questions and complaints.
• Collaborate with other operations managers to ensure best practices and quality.
• Interview, select and train warehouse personnel.
