This Operations Manager position will lead the Project Manager team to ensure all operations are successfully executed in his/her assigned hangar. They will be responsible for oversight of all third-party vendors, engineering support, technical support, ADP and payroll accountability, timecards, and vacations. Additionally, they will develop and implement “best practices” methodology while driving a competitive advantage through a continuous improvement, process-based culture, focused on safety, service, profitability, accuracy, and speed. Ideal candidates will exhibit a fact-based, management style aggressively addressing business and customers’ tactical issues and strategic needs. Operations managers serve as a key change agent leading the Project Manager team with special focus on people, processes, and tooling to achieve faster Turn-Around-Time (TAT), with increased quality and cost savings.
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Bachelor of Science Degree in Business, Leadership or Aircraft related field preferred.
Holds a valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant License.
10+ years in Aircraft Maintenance, with management experience in building and leading world-class operations and organizations.
Working knowledge of Corridor, Cost Accounting Management, Microsoft Office, MS Project, and similar type desktop software applications.
Attention to detail and strong organizational and communication skills, both written and oral, along with budget and forecasting experience.
Experience with various models of corporate aircraft (Cessna Longitude experience preferred).
LEAN, Six Sigma and 5S experience preferred.
