Extant Aerospace is seeking an Operations Manager in Melbourne, Florida to lead and optimize our manufacturing operations. The role focuses on driving efficiency, coordinating a high-variety electronics assembly environment, and delivering monthly plans aligned with schedule, revenue, and cost targets.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
• Must have 4 years direct leadership experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and comfort with data-driven decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Operations environment supporting Extant Aerospace’s manufacturing facility.
• Support high mix, low volume electronics assembly and test facility
• Lead team through successful development and execution of monthly plans to meet and exceed schedule, revenue, and cost requirements.
• Supervise and coordinate activities of workers, equipment, and subcontractors
• Establish optimum utilization of available resources through efficient manpower management
• Utilize statistical analysis to identify opportunities for improvement in processes
• Implement open communication and continuous improvement
• Improve standards and processes in all phases of the operations cycle
• Support the development of new methods, processes, and equipment and apply them to the manufacturing operation for productivity gains

Education & Experience Requirements

• Must have 4 years direct leadership experience
• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence and build consensus in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and comfort with data-driven decision-making
