Job summary

Dauch Corporation in Minerva, OH is seeking an Operations Manager to lead day-to-day manufacturing operations and drive performance across production, cost, and quality-control measures.

You will manage staffing, develop the operations team, coordinate with sales and engineering, and ensure schedules, service levels, and safety standards are met while delivering continuous improvements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent relevant experience.
  • 5+ years progressive leadership experience.
  • 5+ years experience in a fast paced, manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Define, monitor, and be held responsible for overall operations performance.
  • Implement production, cost, and quality-control mechanisms.
  • Oversee operations, ensuring that schedules and performance requirements are met and system resources are used effectively.

  • Manages relationships with business, sales, and engineering; defines, delivers, and manages required service levels.
  • Coordinate Plant processing priorities by reviewing processing output and new requirements.
  • Resolve processing scheduling problems by analyzing reports; reviewing equipment, materials, and associate availability; conferring with processing management; developing solutions.
  • Prepare processing planning information and reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Manages staffing, development, and performance management programs for operations staff; manages, motivates, and develops management team. Manages relationships with business, sales, and engineering; defines, delivers, and manages required service levels. Coordinates strategies, communications, and joint initiatives for facility.

Job Description:

Manage product and operations associate outcomes by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining associates; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions; planning and reviewing compensation actions; enforcing policies and procedures.

Achieve product and operations operational objectives by contributing information and analysis to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; implementing production, productivity, quality, customer-service, safety, security, and health standards; identifying and resolving problems; completing audits; identifying, developing, and implementing system improvements.

Contribute to product and operations management and organization success by welcoming related, different, and new requests; helping others accomplish job results.

Determine Plant priorities by reviewing customer orders and requirements; analyzing equipment, materials, and associate availability; coordinating schedules with sales and warehousing; issuing processing plans and schedules.

Coordinate Plant processing priorities by reviewing processing output and new requirements.

Resolve processing scheduling problems by analyzing reports; reviewing equipment, materials, and associate availability; conferring with processing management; developing solutions.

Prepare processing planning information and reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.

Contribute to plant and organization success by welcoming related, different, and new requests; helping others accomplish job results.

Required Skills and Education

Bachelors Degree or equivalent relevant experience.

5+ years progressive leadership experience.

5+ years experience in a fast paced, manufacturing environment.
