A financial services firm is seeking an Operations Manager to lead the client service team and oversee daily advisory operations. The role manages account opening, asset movement, and operational issues across multiple custodian platforms.

Responsibilities

• Supervise operations staff, distribute workloads, and ensure timely completion of daily tasks.
• Review and approve new accounts, including client financial information, investment objectives, source of funds, and supporting documentation.
• Review and approve wires, checks, deposits, internal journals, account transfers, free deliveries, and trade corrections.
• Resolve operational escalations with clients, financial advisors, custodians, and internal teams.
• Ensure compliance with firm policies, regulatory requirements, and recordkeeping procedures.
• Support hiring, staff development, performance management, and internal projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of relevant experience in financial services operations; strong advisory operations experience preferred.
• Series 7 and Series 66, plus either Series 24 or Series 9/10, required.
• Experience supervising staff and managing daily operational workflows.
• Knowledge of multi-custodian platforms, account opening, asset movement, financial products, and AML/compliance requirements.
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Strong communication, analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills.
• Pershing platform experience is a plus.
