• Coordinates production, distribution, warehousing, and sales activities in accordance with established company policies, principles, and procedures.
• Develops plans for the efficient use of materials, equipment, and employees.
• Reviews production costs and product quality and implements necessary production adjustments.
• Takes a hands‑on approach and identifies potential production and quality issues on the plant floor before they occur.
• Develops capacity strategies, implementation plans, and programs to support the sales plan.
• Develops and improves operational metrics that support company objectives without adding unnecessary bureaucracy.
• Supports and assists in the development of the job planning process.
• Monitors safety concerns with the goal of identifying root causes and eliminating or reducing risks.
• Ensures required training is completed for all responsible employees and develops new training processes as needed.
• Complies with and supports all safety and quality system requirements.
• Provides timely, constructive feedback and promotes effective communication throughout the organization.
• Works collaboratively with employees and leadership to support operational and organizational goals.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

- Summary:

Directs production, distribution, and marketing operations for branch plant, or assigned territory of industrial organization by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:

Operations & Production

Coordinates production, distribution, warehousing, and sales activities in accordance with established company policies, principles, and procedures.

• Develops plans for the efficient use of materials, equipment, and employees.
• Reviews production costs and product quality and implements necessary production adjustments.
• Takes a hands‑on approach and identifies potential production and quality issues on the plant floor before they occur.
• Develops capacity strategies, implementation plans, and programs to support the sales plan.
• Develops and improves operational metrics that support company objectives without adding unnecessary bureaucracy.
• Supports and assists in the development of the job planning process.

Sales & Business Planning

• Supports contract review requirements.
• Participates in the annual planning and budget development process.
• Recommends budgets to management.
• Participates in the development of the companys strategic plan, vision, mission, values, and desired culture.

Purchasing, Facilities & Capacity

• Supports purchasing activities and operational requirements.
• Supports and assists with facility capacity strategies and plans to accommodate business growth.
• Supports and assists with facility and equipment maintenance programs.

Safety, Quality & Training

• Monitors safety concerns with the goal of identifying root causes and eliminating or reducing risks.
• Ensures required training is completed for all responsible employees and develops new training processes as needed.
• Complies with and supports all safety and quality system requirements.

Leadership & Communication

• Provides timely, constructive feedback and promotes effective communication throughout the organization.
• Works collaboratively with employees and leadership to support operational and organizational goals.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Mathematical Skills:

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

Computer Skills:

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have an understanding of Microsoft Suite and Excel package knowledge and abilities
