Job summary

Kenco Group is seeking a senior operations leader to manage day-to-day warehouse activities, drive KPI achievement, and develop staff across operations. You will contribute to budgeting, cost control, and cross-functional improvement initiatives to optimize throughput and accuracy.

The role requires five years in warehousing with leadership experience, and travel up to 25% is expected. A strong safety and process discipline is essential, with comprehensive benefits and Equal Opportunity

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree from a four-year college; and three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum five years of experience in warehousing, distribution, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the facility and manage KPI achievement, inventory integrity, continuous improvement, and employee development of direct reports.
• Budgeting and financial management; assist with site budget process and maximize net income through controllable costs.
• Lead safety, HR, and engineering collaboration to promote productivity improvement programs and ensure compliance with SOPs and policies.

This is accomplished by following all standard operating procedures, standard work and work instructions as well as customer provided documentation. Responsible for budgeting and financial results for areas of responsibility.FunctionsEnsures all warehouse personnel comply with standard operating procedures, personnel policies and workload demandsMeets daily with Supervisors, Foreman and/or Leads to ensure daily productivity goals are met or exceededImplementation of special projects as assigned that impact warehouse operations for both the site and the networkAnalysis of operations on a continuing basis to make necessary improvements to ensure cross functional operating efficiencies in the warehouse. Analyzes throughput information, capacity planning and financial informationResponsible for assisting with the Kenco site budget process, and help to ensure net income is maximized through proper management of controllable costs, identifying and communicating any differences impacting this metricPlans, develops, and implements organizational policies and goals. Supports and works closely with safety, human resources, and engineering to promote productivity improvement programs.
