Job summary

Nutrien is seeking an Operations Manager to join our Boone, Iowa site, overseeing warehousing, logistics, and inventory across a multi-shift operation.

You will plan and direct distribution, oversee field activities and equipment scheduling, and drive process improvements while building a high-performing team.

The role requires 5+ years of management experience in agricultural settings, a willingness to travel, and strong computer skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of management experience in agricultural operations.
• Agricultural degree preferred.
• Willingness to travel across market areas in other states.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word/Excel).

• Develop and implement opportunities for process improvement, cost savings, leverage of technology, and improved service within the distribution.
• Lead and develop a high performing team to meet goals and work with a cross functional mindset.
• Provide customer service for internal and external customers.
• Ensure that a safe working environment is maintained at all times by enforcing Company standards and following up on regular safety inspections.

What You'll Do:

What You'll Bring:

• 5+ years of relevant management experience in vocational agricultural or a combination in supervisory, education, and work experience
• Agricultural based degree desired
• Willingness to travel to include market areas in other states
• Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word/Excel)
