Position Summary

The Operations Manager is a member of the Store Management team and helps drive store execution and performance while building consumer loyalty to CVS/pharmacy through excellent customer service. Under the supervision of the Store Manager, the Operations Manager maintains an engaged, productive store team through strong leadership, initiative, and leading by example.

Responsibilities

• Overall store management, supervision, and policy implementation
• Sales and inventory management

Note: Unlike the Store Manager in Training position, the Operations Manager is not part of the CVS/pharmacy Retail Management Development Program. Operations Managers are not eligible for direct promotion to Store Manager. Candidates seeking a short-term path to Store Manager should apply for Store Manager in Training openings.

Essential Functions

1. Management
   1. Lead others and work effectively with store crews
   2. Supervise, assign and direct activities of the store's crew
   3. Effectively communicate information to store crew and supervisors in an open and timely manner
   4. Support Store Manager with action plans for operational and service improvement
2. Customer Service
   1. Assist customers with their questions, problems and complaints
   2. Promote CVS customer service culture (greet, offer help, and thank)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience as a retail manager or supervisor

The typical pay range for this role is: $19.00 - $29.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
