Job summary

Talbots store leadership in Cranston, RI seeks an experienced leader to drive store operations and visual merchandising with a customer-centric focus.

You will coach teams, manage floor sets, uphold brand standards, and balance service with selling energy to achieve sales goals while ensuring compliance and a positive, inclusive culture.

Qualifications

  • An experienced leader with 2+ years in specialty retail, focusing on store operations and/or visual merchandising.
  • Customer-centric approach drives exceptional service and sales growth.
  • Educator/coach and mentor who inspires team members by leveraging individual strengths.
  • Organized and strategic, capable of independent decision-making in a fast-paced environment.
  • Clear communicator of business information and brand initiatives.
  • Technological aptitude to train and navigate POS/iPad/handheld systems.

Responsibilities

  • Create and foster a culture of hospitality through exceptional customer experiences and relationships.
  • Provide an exceptional customer service experience that promotes the product and builds brand relationships.
  • Achieve sales and service metrics in key areas: Clientelling, Outreach, appointments, awards.
  • Partner with the Manager to lead the team with ownership of operations across the store.
  • Plan, execute and lead floor sets, window displays, recalls, markdowns, etc.
  • Educate, train, and reinforce brand standards and company policies.
  • Balance operational and selling energy with scheduling and task prioritization to meet business needs.
  • Maintain knowledge of fashion trends and business drivers to maximize sales and goals.
  • Ensure compliance with policies and employment laws; foster positive working relationships.
