Job summary

Central Transport is launching its flagship Operations Management Trainee Program for December 2026 graduates, with a January 2027 start. The 16-week training spans the Corporate Office in Michigan and several nationwide terminals to build hands-on operations knowledge.

Six weeks at Headquarters in metro Detroit, six weeks at an Endline terminal, and four weeks at a HUB terminal, with a $55k base salary plus weekly reimbursements for meals/gas and hotel/travel coverage by the company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• Career interest in Transportation, Supply Chain or Logistics.
• Effective organizational and planning skills.
• Must be willing to travel throughout duration of program with company assistance.
• Willingness to relocate upon completion of training program with company assistance.

Responsibilities

• Engage in all aspects of the structured training program and learn all aspects of linehaul, city dispatch, inbound, outbound and HUB operations.
• Develop knowledge and ability to prepare and plan the daily utilization of resources to ensure a consistent and efficient operation.
• Learn the methods of on-the-job safety to foster safe handling and loading of hazardous materials.
• Develop a strong comprehension of the company operational model, policies and procedures.
• Completes department/area knowledge indicators and develops new indicators as well as process and procedure changes.

With growth and opportunity at the forefront of our vision for the future, we are excited to launch our flagship Operations Management Trainee Program, geared toward recently graduated or soon-to-be graduating seniors. Throughout this 16-week program, participants will receive extensive hands‑on training at our Corporate Office in Michigan and several terminals throughout our nationwide network.

We are currently looking for December 2026 graduates for our upcoming class starting in January 2027!

*Trainees start at $55k base salary + weekly expense report reimbursements for food/gas expenses*

• 6 weeks of training at Headquarters in metro Detroit, MI
• 6 weeks at an Endline terminal
• 4 weeks at a HUB terminal

Upon completion of the program, graduates will possess the necessary operational and managerial skills to join our terminal network as Supervisors or Terminal Managers!
