Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. in Tukwila, WA invites recent graduates to join as a Customer Service Coordinator through the Operations Management Trainee (OMT) program. You will work with cross-functional teams to gain insights into the business, processes, and strategies to support customer retention and operational excellence.

This 18–24 month program offers mentorship and training to develop leadership and logistics expertise, with relocation within the business unit as part of growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 1 year or more in customer service with issue resolution preferred.
• Strong PC skills including advanced spreadsheet and word processing.
• Basic understanding of business finance, controls, and metrics.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for customer relationship activities including proactive management and satisfaction.
• Coordinate with rental department to maximize utilization without harming lease customers.
• Partner with Sales on calls for new business and satisfaction.
• Manage running costs and maintenance overheads.
• Ensure policy compliance to optimize costs and maintenance.
• Coordinate with Maintenance, Asset Management, Sales and Marketing to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Ensure accurate PM scheduling and follow-up, breakdowns and vehicle status updates.

Essential Functions

• Responsible for the customer relationship activities by providing quality customer interface, proactive customer management, issue resolution, and customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate with the rental department to ensure maximum utilization without compromising lease customers.
• Partner with Sales staff on customer calls for new business and increased customer satisfaction.
• Manage running costs and maintenance overheads.
• Ensure policy and processes are followed to optimize running costs and maintenance overhead.
• Accountable for coordinating with Maintenance, Asset Management, Sales and Marketing to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Ensure accurate PM scheduling and follow‑up, breakdowns and vehicle status updates; oversee Technician work planning for efficiency, training, and flexibility.

Additional Responsibilities

• Relocation within the business unit at the conclusion of the training program is required.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree, required.

• Basic understanding of Business Finance, controls, and metrics. Beginner skills are required.

Compensation Information

Pay Type: Salaried

Minimum Pay Range: 65,000

Maximum Pay Range: 65,000
