You will work across Operations, Asset Management, Sales, Quality, and Rental Management to gain hands-on fleet maintenance experience and build a strong operations foundation. The program progresses toward an Ops Supervisor role with relocation after training and opportunities to advance based on performance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • 1 year or more in customer service with issue-resolution experience preferred.
  • Strong PC knowledge including spreadsheet and word processing software.
  • Basic understanding of Business Finance, controls and metrics.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for customer relationship activities by providing quality customer interface, proactive customer management, issue resolution, and customer satisfaction.
  • Coordinate with the rental department to ensure maximum utilization without compromising lease customers.
  • Partner with Sales staff on customer calls for new business and increased customer satisfaction.
  • Manage running costs and maintenance overheads.
  • Coordinate with Maintenance, Asset Management, Sales and Marketing to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure accurate PM scheduling and follow‑up, breakdowns and vehicle status updates; oversee technician work planning for efficiency.

Job Summary

The Operations Management Trainee will support the shop management process and assist in cost savings, customer retention, and metric‑based initiatives. This role requires the trainee to work cross‑functionally across Operations, Asset Management, Sales, Quality, and Rental Management. The programme is fast‑paced and touches every aspect of the business unit. In this role, you will acquire proven industry knowledge, skills and resources to develop your operations & fleet maintenance background. You will carve out your own career path and have opportunities to be promoted from within, based on performance. The ideal progression is an Ops Supervisor. The position is an opportunity to learn how to manage a heavy‑duty truck repair shop while being paid to train.

Location & Schedule
  • Location: Burnsville, MN
  • Schedule: Monday – Friday
  • Hours: 10:00am to 6:30pm
  • Salary: Paid weekly – determined based on internal equity, market data, applicant’s skills, prior relevant experience and certain degrees or certifications.
Essential Functions

  • Ensure policy and processes are followed to optimise running costs and maintenance overhead.
  • Coordinate with Maintenance, Asset Management, Sales and Marketing to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure accurate PM scheduling and follow‑up, breakdowns and vehicle status updates; oversee technician work planning for efficiency, training and flexibility.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Relocation within the business unit at the conclusion of the training programme is required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Compensation
  • Pay Type: Salaried
  • Minimum Pay Range: $55,000
  • Maximum Pay Range: $55,000
  • The position may also be eligible to receive an annual bonus, commission, and/or long‑term incentive plan based on the level and/or type.
