Job summary

TARGUS Group North America, a U.S. subsidiary of the leading European consulting firm, seeks an Operations Management Consultant to drive data-driven operational improvements for clients. The role emphasizes lean manufacturing, supply chain optimization, and cost reduction across multiple industries.

The candidate will lead teams, mentor junior colleagues, and develop internal tools, with a willingness to travel 90–100% to client sites. An advanced engineering/science degree or MBA is preferred.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in manufacturing, supply chain management, continuous improvement, or similar fields.
• Advanced degree in engineering, science, or a related field; or an undergraduate degree plus an MBA.
• Project management experience and proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
• Strong background in lean manufacturing, supply chain management, and cost optimization, with experience in post-merger integration and plant expansions.
• Knowledge/Implementation of business intelligence infrastructure and collection and analysis of data sets with Microsoft BI, Minitab, R, Tableau or similar software.
