Lewis Tree Service seeks an Operations Leadership Trainee to grow into future field leadership roles. You will learn field operations and safety while developing leadership capabilities through progressive responsibilities and rotations.

The program emphasizes hands-on training, teamwork, and internal career advancement in a 100% employee-owned company with strong safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership potential across settings.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated and adaptable with hands-on field learning.
• Valid driver’s license and eligibility to operate a vehicle for the Company.
• High school diploma or GED required; college education in forestry/arboriculture welcomed.

Responsibilities

• Learn field operations from experienced operational leaders and field teams.
• Support safe, efficient and high-quality vegetation management operations.
• Participate in work planning, crew and jobsite observations, safety activities and operational reviews.
• Build the skills to coach and support employees, communicate expectations and contribute to a positive team environment.
• Travel as needed for field exposure, storm response and leadership development.
