Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain, Business, Agriculture, Engineering, Food Science, or equivalent experience; experience in a related field preferred.
  • Early-career professional or recent graduate with demonstrated interest in operations and leadership.
  • Previous internship, co-op, leadership, manufacturing, agriculture, food production, warehouse, distribution, or other operational experience preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated initiative, drive, accountability, and eagerness to learn.
  • Ability to manage changing priorities and adapt to different operating environments.
  • Willingness and ability to travel and/or relocate to different Lipman locations based on business needs and development opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Work in assigned operational roles and locations based on current business needs and development opportunities.
  • Take ownership of meaningful day-to-day responsibilities and contribute as an active member of the assigned operation.
  • Develop a working understanding of operational processes, workflows, performance expectations, and key business drivers.
  • Work alongside operational leaders and frontline employees to understand how work is performed and how decisions affect safety, quality, service, productivity, cost, and people.
  • Learn Lipman's operating practices, culture, expectations, and approach to leadership through direct experience.
  • Demonstrate a willingness to work hands‑on within the operation and learn the business from the ground up.
