Job summary

A biotechnology company is seeking a Director of Scientific Communication Operations to manage the operational aspects of the Scientific Communications team. This includes developing processes, managing budgets and leading communication initiatives. Ideal candidates will have over 8 years in the pharmaceutical industry, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a matrixed environment. The role is hybrid, based in Bedford, MA, with approximately 10% travel expected.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of related experience in the pharmaceutical industry or medical communications agency.
• Experience working in medical affairs and scientific communications in an operational capacity.
• Knowledge and understanding of the pharmaceutical commercialization process.

Responsibilities

• Develop strong processes and tools for medical communication strategy implementation.
• Create and maintain project plans for high-priority communications tactics.
• Lead operational implementation of congress activities.
