Job summary

Nutrien is hiring for a warehouse/production team lead at our Ivor, VA location. The role oversees a busy warehouse, coordinates inventory and parts, and guides seasonal staff to ensure training and safety compliance.

You will manage facilities maintenance, operate small equipment, and ensure accurate paperwork and records while supporting efficient loading of fertilizer products.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of leadership experience in agriculture or related field.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Clean driving record.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Manage warehouse/production team for the location.
• Order and track inventory of production and equipment parts.
• Assist in hiring seasonal staff and supervise all other warehouse staff and ensure proper training.
• Oversee maintenance, cleanliness, and repairs of facilities and equipment.
• Ensure SH&E compliance at the location.
• Ensure paperwork is completed fully and in a timely manner.
• Maintain maintenance records.
• Operate small mobile equipment (forklift, frontend loader, etc.).
• Report any safety concerns to the branch manager as soon as they are identified.
• Assemble customer orders.
• Plan and develop policy, procedures, and ensures team adherence.
• Blend and load bulk liquid and dry fertilizer, and the loading and unloading of bulk liquid and dry products.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.

The salary range for this role, in Ivor, VA location, is between $15.00 - $29.00. While we provide this range as general guidance, several factors are taken into consideration when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, candidate skill set, experience and training, licensure and certifications, work location, and other business and organizational needs. Actual salary and benefits may differ based upon location.
