Job summary

J.B. Hunt Transport, Inc. in Phoenix, AZ is seeking an Operations Internship for Summer 2027. Under close supervision, this position will assist with customers on providing transportation/logistics services.

You will gain exposure to basic transportation management principles and participate in daily operational tasks, including freight planning, asset utilization, safety management, DOT compliance, and driver payroll, while developing strong organizational and multitasking skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualifications: Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program and in good standing at an accredited college or university.
• Must be able to work 20-25 hours a week.
• Junior or Senior level preferred
• Must have strong organizational skills and the ability to multi task
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite applications
• Willing to work flexible hours
• This position is not eligible for employment-based sponsorship.

Compensation

Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include skills, education, experience, geography, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position may be eligible for annual bonus and incentives based on profitability or volumes in accordance with the terms of the Company’s bonus and incentive plans, as applicable and in effect from time to time.
