Job summary

Sonoco Products Company is offering a 12-week paid internship in Oakdale, California, designed for students pursuing Engineering or Business degrees. The program combines hands-on projects with direct exposure to Sonoco leadership and real-time feedback to accelerate professional growth.

You will work across manufacturing, process engineering, quality, safety, and supply chain functions, gaining valuable cross-functional experience and networking opportunities in a global packaging leader.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Engineering or Business.
• Prior internship experience in Manufacturing preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership ability and strong communication skills.
• Technical aptitude and hands-on project experience.

Responsibilities

• Complete a 12-week paid internship with hands-on projects.
• Participate in plant tours and engagement with Sonoco leadership.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Manufacturing, Process Engineering, Quality, Safety, and Supply Chain.
