Job summary

J.B. Hunt Transport Services, Inc. in San Bernardino, California, is seeking an Operations Intern for Fall 2026 within the Supply Chain department.

Under close supervision, you will assist with customers on providing transportation/logistics services. Gain exposure to basic transportation management principles and participate in daily operational tasks such as freight planning, asset utilization, safety and DOT compliance, driver payroll, logistics management, and more.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in good standing at an accredited college or university.
• Must be able to work 20-25 hours a week during the school semester.
• Ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment and shifting priorities and directives.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).
• Willingness to work flexible hours.
• Junior or Senior level preferred.

The expected starting pay range for this role is between $16.90- $24.50 per hour.

This position is not eligible for employment-based sponsorship.

Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include skills, education, experience, geography, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position may be eligible for annual bonus and incentives based on profitability or volumes in accordance with the terms of the Company's bonus and incentive plans, as applicable and in effect from time to time.
