Job summary

Modern Woodmen of America is offering an Insurance Operations Intern position in Rock Island, IL. You will gain hands-on experience supporting certificate administration, underwriting, and claims, while collaborating with the operations team on process improvements.

The program is 11 weeks, full-time, on-site, with pay of $20.00 per hour. Students pursuing a bachelor’s in a related field will develop skills in accuracy, customer service, and professionalism within a respected fraternal

Insurance Operations Intern

Gain hands-on experience where accuracy, service, and problem-solving come together to support our members when they need us most. As an Operations Intern, you’ll contribute to meaningful projects, learn from experienced professionals, and build a strong foundation in insurance operations.

What we offer

• Internship program information: Modern Woodmen’s summer internships are ideal for current college students interested in exploring the financial services industry. The program offers an opportunity for students to gain real-life work experience related to their studies while connecting with a mentor in their field.


• Pay: The hourly pay for this position is $20.00. The specific rate will depend on the successful candidate’s qualifications and prior experience. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future employment-based sponsorship. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of employment visas at this time, nor can we guarantee future sponsorship.


• Work Arrangements: This is a full-time, 11-week office focused summer internship position: 37.5 hours per week (7.5 hours per day), Monday- Friday, with flexible start time between 7 a.m.-9 a.m. Office focused positions work on-site due to the nature of the work and have limited remote days.
