Job summary

Ian Martin Group seeks an Operations Inspector for an onsite role in Irvine, CA. You will perform detailed inspections, oversee cosmetic and final inspections, and ensure products meet quality standards. The position requires 3+ years of QA experience and proficiency with MS Office, plus the ability to read drawings and EO instructions.

The role is 12 months, 40 hours per week, on a 5:00 AM–1:30 PM schedule with potential OT, and is paid $23.00/hour on W2.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of quality inspection experience in a production/manufacturing environment.
• Experience with quality control techniques and QA mindset.
• Experience using test equipment for troubleshooting.
• Proficient in MS Word and Excel for daily records.
• Ability to read assembly drawings and Engineering Orders (EO).

Responsibilities

• Ensure QA practices and safety policies are followed.
• Document inspection results and log data into QA database.
• Coordinate with groups to analyze and resolve active concerns.
• Communicate results and ensure traceability of information.
• Complete paperwork accurately and timely.
• Guide team toward continuous quality improvements.
• Coordinate with RMA, Production, Engineering, Receiving Inspection and others.
• Assist with rework to meet specs.
• Participate in inventory counts.
• Maintain 6S standards in work areas.
• Train assemblers and cross-train as requested.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
