Job summary

jade owls is seeking a Field Ops Supervisor to lead daily field operations across wells and production facilities in Oklahoma. You will supervise Lease Operators, plan daily work, and coordinate maintenance and field activities to ensure safe, efficient production.

The role requires strong supervision and oil/gas production knowledge, with emphasis on safety, regulatory compliance, and data-driven decision making. Occasional travel between sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising Lease Operators or field personnel.
• Strong knowledge of oil and gas production operations and equipment.
• Ability to read production data and identify operational issues.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily field operations and ensure wells and production facilities are operated safely, efficiently, and reliably.
• Supervise, direct, and support Lease Operators and other field personnel.
• Plan daily work, assign routes, and prioritize operational and maintenance needs.
• Monitor production, equipment performance, and field conditions to identify issues and opportunities for improvement.
• Troubleshoot operational and mechanical issues and coordinate repairs with Maintenance and contractors.
• Ensure wells, pumps, tanks, valves, and production equipment are properly operated and maintained.
• Coordinate oil and water hauling, tank work, well servicing, and other field activities.
• Ensure field personnel follow company procedures, safety requirements, and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct field inspections and provide coaching and direction to employees.
• Train and develop Lease Operators and other field personnel.
• Review daily production and operational data and communicate significant issues to Operations leadership.
• Responsible for maintaining an efficient lease operating expense.
• Maintain accurate production, maintenance, and field activity records.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Maintenance, EHS, Land, and other departments to support field operations.
• Assist with workovers, facility projects, construction, and other operational activities as needed.
• Manage contractors and service providers working in the field.
• Maintain positive relationships with landowners, vendors, and community stakeholders.
• Participate in route reviews, operational planning, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Previous supervisory or foreman experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of oil and gas production operations and equipment
• Knowledge of wells, pumps, tanks, valves, production facilities, and field maintenance
• Ability to read and understand production data and identify operational issues
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable MVR
• Must pass pre-employment drug screening and background check

Work Environment

• Outdoor field work in all weather conditions
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Exposure to hazardous equipment and H2S environments
• Working independently and leading field personnel across operating locations
• Frequent driving between wells, facilities, and field locations
• Ability to work extended hours, weekends, and respond to operational issues when needed
