Aramark is seeking an Operations Finance Senior Analyst in Washington, DC to support the Accounting department, forecasting, budgeting, labor and inventory controls, and related analyses for assigned units. The role emphasizes credit control, account supervision, and timely financial reporting.

Expect responsibilities spanning daily cash posting, balance sheet integrity, and collaboration with multiple teams.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years' experience in service industry with a system driven approach to credit control.
• Very good knowledge of Excel (crucial).
• Experience with Oracle System would be an advantage.
• Possess relevant or related financial qualification.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Self-motivated with excellent phone manner (crucial).

Responsibilities

• Carry out daily credit control procedures ensuring overdue debts are kept to a minimum.
• Supervise customer accounts to ensure credit control policies are followed.
• Meet all targets set out by the Company Plan.
• Process and resolve daily customer account queries and issues (e.g., invoices).
• Collaborate with relevant departments on credit control activities.
• Post and allocate receipts accurately and in a timely manner.
• Balance all accounts monthly.
• Maintain all files and documentation to a high standard.
• Prepare weekly/monthly/quarterly analyses of outstanding debts and report issues to AR Manager.
• Ongoing evaluation and enforcement of Credit Control policies.
• Advance unresolved issues.
• Any ad hoc duties as needed.

As the Operations Finance Sr Analyst you will support the objectives of the Accounting department while assisting operating departments with forecasting, budget, labor and inventory controls, analysis, auditing as well as operational responsibilities for the units you are supporting.

Compensation Data

COMPENSATION: The Salaried rate for this position is $80,000.00 to $90,000.00. If both numbers are the same, that is the amount that Aramark expects to offer. This is Aramark's good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation for this position as of the time of posting.

Job Responsibilities

• Accurately supervising customer accounts on a regular basis to ensure the company's credit control policies and procedures are adhered to
• Meet all targets set out by the Company Plan
• Processing and resolving of daily customer accounts queries and issues e.g. copying invoices/statements
• Collaborate closely with relevant departments regarding credit control activities
• Post & allocate receipts accurately and in a timely manner
• Balancing of all accounts on a monthly basis
• Maintain all files and documentation to a high standard
• Prepare weekly/monthly/quarterly analysis of outstanding debts and report any issues to AR Manager as needed.
• Responsible for ongoing evaluation and enforcement of policies and procedures with regard to Credit Control Department
• Advance unresolved issues
• Any ad hoc duties that may arise

Qualifications

Technical Knowledge and key attributes:
