Delta Faucet Company in Michigan seeks a Plant Accounting Manager to support plant operations with the general ledger, month-end close, budgeting, forecasting, and inventory control. You will deliver timely financial insights to leadership to drive cost reduction and operational excellence.

The role reports to the Category Controller and partners with finance teams at headquarters and other Masco locations. A CMA/CPA and manufacturing experience are preferred.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting; CMA/CPA preferred.
  • 5+ years manufacturing accounting experience.
  • Strong analytical and interpersonal skills; ability to communicate at all levels.
  • Proficiency with SAP ERP and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

  • Direct the month-end close process and financial reporting.
  • Manage budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for plant operations.
  • Oversee inventory controls, cycle counts, and cost reporting.
  • Provide insights to plant leadership to drive cost reduction and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with HQ and other locations on SOX compliance.

This role is essential in delivering insights to plant leadership that drive cost reduction, operational excellence, and strategic decisions.Reporting directly to the Category Controller, this role partners with Finance teams at headquarters, plant leadership, and other Masco locations. The Plant Accounting Manager’s success is reflected in cost per earned hour oversight, cycle count reliability, and preventing SOX control deficiencies.**Responsibilities:*** Direct the implementation of all accounting policies and procedures to guarantee complete adherence to Sarbanes-Oxley regulations.* Manage the month-end close process, including financial reporting and variance analysis.* Manage budgeting, forecasting, and reporting for labor, overhead, scrap, and capital by implementing actionable variance analysis.* Collaborate with operations to offer financial assistance for ongoing improvement efforts.* Monitor and analyze overhead spending, labor efficiency, and cost drivers to identify potential issues and savings opportunities.* Deliver timely, clear, and insightful financial reports to plant management and headquarters.* Coordinate cycle-count and inventory control programs, including reconciliations and compliance with corporate standards.* Contribute and support strategic projects and initiatives.**Qualifications:*** Bachelor’s degree in accounting (CMA/CPA preferred) with 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment (or equivalent combination of education and experience).* Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Access, Word); experience with SAP ERP systems preferred.* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills; able to communicate effectively at all organizational levels.* High attention to detail with an uncompromising focus on accuracy.* Ability to navigate and resolve complex, unstructured problems independently.* Self-starter with the ability to work with minimal direction in a dynamic environment. **Why Join Us?**At Delta Faucet Company, our people are our greatest assets.
