Job summary

Handled Commercial Services is hiring reliable Overnight Cleaning Technicians to provide professional cleaning services at assigned commercial facilities. You will travel between locations, complete a consistent scope of cleaning at each site, and work independently to ensure each facility is clean and safe for the next business day.

Shifts are overnight (after 8 PM), averaging 20–25 hours per week, with weekend availability and potential routes seven days a week.

Qualifications

• Overnight and weekend availability required.
• Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation for travel between sites.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift up to 40 pounds.
• Commercial cleaning experience preferred.
• Follow written and verbal instructions and site procedures.

Responsibilities

• Clean and disinfect assigned areas and restrooms.
• Sweep, vacuum, mop, and spot clean floors.
• Empty trash and recycle and dispose of waste properly.
• Disinfect high-touch surfaces and clean interior glass and doors.
• Follow site-specific waste handling procedures and complete checklists.
• Secure the facility and ensure tasks are completed before leaving.
• Maintain documentation and timekeeping via smartphone app.

Overview

Handled Commercial Services is hiring reliable Overnight Cleaning Technicians to provide professional cleaning services at assigned commercial facilities.

In this role, you will travel between assigned locations, complete a consistent scope of cleaning services at each site, and work independently to ensure each facility is clean, safe, and ready for the next business day. Cleaning supplies and equipment will be provided.

Schedule

• Overnight shifts, generally beginning after 8:00 PM
• Approximately 20–25 hours per week
• Typically scheduled across three to four nights per week
• Routes may operate seven days a week
• Weekend availability is required

What You Will Do

• Clean and disinfect assigned work areas, offices, common areas, and other facility spaces
• Clean and restock public and staff restrooms
• Sweep, vacuum, mop, and spot clean floors
• Empty trash and recycling and dispose of waste appropriately
• Disinfect high-touch surfaces such as counters, door handles, rails, and chairs
• Clean interior glass, doors, and other assigned surfaces
• Follow site-specific procedures for handling and disposing of waste
• Complete required cleaning checklists and documentation
• Follow all safety procedures and properly use cleaning products and equipment
• Secure the facility and ensure assigned areas are properly completed before leaving

What We Are Looking For

• Reliable availability for overnight and weekend work
• Valid driver's license, current auto insurance, and reliable transportation when travel between assigned locations is required
• Ability to work independently and complete assigned work within the scheduled timeframe
• Ability to use a smartphone or mobile app for timekeeping, checklists, and/or site verification
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift up to 40 pounds as needed
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining clean, professional facilities
• Commercial cleaning or janitorial experience preferred
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and site-specific procedures
• Must meet any applicable background check, drug screening, or facility-access requirements
