Job summary

Mars Incorporated in Elizabethtown, KY seeks a Continuous Improvement Engineer responsible for 24/7 process results in a production area. You will coordinate with team leads, drive operational excellence, establish standards, and coach staff across shifts to improve reliability and reduce losses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, supply, or technical field.
• 3-5 years in TPM/technical manufacturing environment.
• Experience leading change and situational leadership.
• Ability to motivate and train others.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills; coaching ability.
• Proficient in MS Office and SAP.

Responsibilities

• Develop Line Master/90-Day Plans to address losses and build capability.
• Lead Daily Area Value Stream meetings and manage DMS execution.
• Own CIL DMS and monthly Area Master Plan reviews; anticipate changes.
• Develop Area Loss Analysis and on-floor coaching across shifts.
• Drive loss elimination and provide technical coaching and training.
• Makes quick, responsible decisions and ensures commitments are met.
• Champion MRF activities and ensure OJT and procedures are followed.
• Address food safety and quality risks via PRIMP and near-miss reporting.
• Coordinate materials, staffing, and resources for line operations andChangeovers.
