Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Sub Same Day (SSD) Operations Engineer to lead cross-functional projects and drive infrastructure for new builds, retrofits, and expansions. You will partner with internal and external teams, manage budgets, and mitigate risks with data-driven approaches.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and report on the progress of all project activity including significant milestones and conditions which would affect project cost or schedule.
  • Solve ambiguous problems and proactively identify and mitigate risks before they become roadblocks.
  • Manage project budget and approve all purchase orders.

As a Sub Same Day [SSD] Operations Engineer, you will lead and manage the lifecycle of challenging cross‑functional projects. You are a customer-obsessed leader who will play an integral part in the planning and execution of facility infrastructure for new builds, retrofits, expansions and program initiatives. Project management and internal/external stakeholder management skills will be essential.

Key job responsibilities

Basic Qualifications

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
