Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking an SSD Operations Engineer in Chicago to lead cross-functional projects ensuring site configurations and installations are validated before go-live. You will coordinate with Launch, IT, Startup, Engineering and Operations to meet milestones, identify gaps, and drive solutions that minimize risk and cost.
You will travel up to 80% domestically, build readiness frameworks, and optimize processes to improve launch quality and visibility.

As a Sub Same Day (SSD) Operations Engineer, you will lead and manage the lifecycle of challenging cross-functional projects focused on site configurations, virtual readiness, and end-to-end testing for new facility launches, retrofits, and expansions. You are a customer-obsessed leader who will play an integral part in ensuring that all system configurations and physical installations are validated and ready for go-live across the SSD network. Strong technical aptitude, stakeholder management, and the ability to drive results independently in ambiguous environments will be essential.

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
