Job summary

Mach Industries in Huntington Beach seeks an Operations Engineer to serve as a deployable technical operator across engineering, manufacturing, and program management teams. You will develop automation, integrate enterprise systems, and maintain real-time dashboards to sustain product velocity.

You will report into execution leadership and thrive in a fast-paced, high-impact environment. A strong background in automation, software tooling, and cross-functional collaboration is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering discipline.
• 1–3+ years in a fast paced engineering or consulting environment.
• Strong systems-level intuition across electrical, mechanical and software domains.
• Proven ability to influence outcomes without formal authority.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for diverse stakeholders.
• Experience building automation using Python, SQL, APIs, or similar tooling.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and deployment of internal automation systems across engineering, manufacturing and operations workflows.
• Architect and maintain data pipelines and dashboards for real-time decision visibility across programs.
• Design scalable architectures to support new product lines and facilities expansion.
• Instrument workflows with clear inputs/outputs, controls and metrics.
• Diagnose inefficiencies using data-driven analysis and implement durable solutions.
• Develop and refine program execution tooling, including tracking and risk monitoring.
• Integrate software systems and cross-functional data sources to create a unified backbone.
• Develop lightweight internal apps and scripts to automate coordination and reporting.
