Operations/Distribution Manager [Management Consultant]

Management Consultants gain exposure to Fortune 500 companies in various industries and work side by side, coaching frontline managers and supervisors in behavioral changes that drive sustainable performance and financial improvements.

Armed with training in our proven methodology and the knowledge gained as previous business leaders, Management Consultants customize solutions for our client’s existing people, processes, and business environments to help them achieve dramatic improvements in productivity, quality, service, and profitability.

This position requires 100% weekly, Sunday-Friday travel to designated project locations.

We focus on implementation and transformational change and deliver value by:

  • Serving client organizations to solve business issues, create value, maximize growth, and improve overall performance for sustainability.
  • Familiarizing quickly with client challenges and technologies to understand the environment for behavioral changes.
  • Gathering, organizing, and analyzing data regarding key business drivers to present meaningful insights using metrics and analytics.
  • Understanding client resource utilization to identify waste and provide operational improvement opportunities.
  • Discussing organizational shortcomings professionally to provide valuable feedback and influence solutions for sustainability.
  • Empowering frontline accountability through guidance and self-exploration of business segments and staff utilization.
  • Collaborating with frontline leaders to improve management behaviors.
  • Coaching clients to approach business issues proactively to improve behaviors and efficiencies.
  • Assisting with tool building or modification.
  • Fostering teamwork and resolving conflicts effectively to enable project success.

Travel and Per Diem

Professional Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Management, Engineering, or related field.
  • At least 5 years of management experience, preferably in manufacturing, distribution, or engineering.
  • Skills in conflict management, consensus building, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Strong analytical, business acumen, and leadership skills.
  • Excellent facilitation and relationship-building skills at all organizational levels.
  • Ability to handle multiple responsibilities and adapt to fast-paced environments.
  • Exceptional communication skills (verbal, written, presentation).
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
  • Ability to pass background and screening checks.
