Job summary

SJS Industrial, LLC (SJS), doing business as SJS Executives, is seeking a full-time Director of Operations for the Powder Coating division in Colts Neck, NJ, with relocation to Virginia Beach, VA. The role requires 10+ years leading teams in a production-driven environment and driving ISO continuous process improvement.

Qualifications

• Degree in Industrial Engineering, Industrial Operations Management, business admin, or equivalent.
• 10+ years as Production Supervisor or Industrial Production Manager.
• Experience managing 10+ crew members in an industrial setting.
• Strong leadership, ability to work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
• ISO 9000 experience in defect elimination and process improvement preferred.
• Must pass drug test and background check.

Responsibilities

• Oversee division budget including COGS and staffing.
• Report production activities and process improvements to senior management.
• Plan and schedule production to prevent downtime.
• Work with QC to identify and rework defective output.
• Foresee challenges and coordinate with customers to minimize impact.
• Co-develop roadmaps and RFPs/RFQs with customers and engineers.
• Develop new client opportunities with sales and networking.
• Maintain strong customer relationships and ensure satisfaction.
• Input data into Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for reporting.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
