Job summary

The Director of Operations at SCR will lead the company’s operational departments, driving performance, profitability, safety, and customer satisfaction.

You will provide strategic direction for Refrigeration Installation, HVAC Installation, and Controls, plus Facilities, Fleet, Purchasing, and the Northern location operations, reporting to ownership. You will partner with leadership to set budgets, KPIs, and continuous improvement, ensuring safety and alignment with SCR’s core values.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field.
• 10+ years in construction or related industries with 5+ years in leadership.
• Proficiency in Word and Excel; ERP experience and project management skills.
• Strong knowledge of budgets, P&L, and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Set safety standards and foster proactive safety culture across departments.
• Provide strategic leadership for Refrigeration, HVAC, and Controls operations.
• Directly manage department managers and regional operations.
• Ensure consistency, accountability, and execution across locations.
• Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial metrics.
• Lead continuous improvement to boost productivity and customer satisfaction.
• Oversee purchasing, facilities, fleet, and inventory management.
• Align projects with budgets and company priorities; report to ownership.
