This role will support the Stop Loss business. Experience with Major Medical Group Health (Stop Loss, Self-Funded, or Fully Insured) is preferred.
Compensation Grade: H2
This role does not qualify for employer-sponsored work authorization. Nationwide does not participate in the Stem OPT Extension program.

As a Director, you will oversee daily operations and administration, ensuring an outstanding service experience for our internal and external partners, including sales teams, firms, third-party administrators, producers, and customers. You will be responsible for maintaining financial controls and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory guidelines.
Manage department roles and responsibilities, oversee daily operations and staff, and align activities with company standards and compliance guidelines.
Lead staff participation in projects and process improvements to enhance service delivery and meet industry and regulatory standards.
Foster a culture of coaching and feedback, develop talent for succession planning, and handle performance management.
Develop and deliver training on processes and procedures; build relationships through presentations and direct contact with advisors.
Supervise workflow activities to ensure timely completion and quality standards; oversee service issue resolution and client relationship activities.
Ensure staff comply with regulations, prepare for audits, and respond to regulatory matters, working closely with Compliance.
Guide the design, development, and upgrade of business processes and procedures, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements.
Manage expenses and develop solutions to streamline processes and reduce costs.
Oversee producer onboarding and payment processing, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Provide strategic oversight to underwriting staff to ensure practices meet experience and administrative goals.
Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
Reports to the Associate Vice President or Vice President, typically managing 3-10 staff members directly, with possible indirect reports.
Leadership skills, competencies, and experience may take precedence in staffing decisions.
